Details: Button Men: Fantasy was designed to be a new core set of Button Men that maight eventually replace the Soldiers set. Fantasy contains twelve gorgeous characters from Larry Elmore's best work, including mighty warriors, powerful monsters, and other denizens of the Elmore world. The set also contains a new type of variable die, called "Option Dice," which are basically very limited Swing Dice.
Rares: Two, Nightmare and Socrates. Both are tournament legal.
Design Notes: Option Dice were developed for the Sluggy Freelance set of Button Men (late 2000), and worked well as the starting point for this new set of Button Men. These characters were designed by James Ernest and Nick Sauer.
